Extreme Vegan Action in Manchester

In recent months, there has been an increase in vegan protests in Manchester city centre. These protestors stand with screens all day, showing videos of animals being slaughtered. Some people think this is an effective way to convert others to veganism, while others believe that it will simply make people eat less meat. So, what do YOU think?

On the one hand, it could be argued that these vegan protesters are onto something. Bystanders are confronted with the harsh reality of animal slaughter, which might be enough to prompt them to reconsider their dietary choices. After all, knowledge is power—and if people are armed with the knowledge of where their food comes from and how it got to their plate, they might be more inclined to make ethical choices about what they put into their bodies.

On the other hand, some people might find these videos graphic and disturbing—which could actually have the opposite effect of what the protesters are hoping for. Instead of becoming vegan themselves, meat-eaters might simply reduce their meat consumption out of a sense of disgust or distaste. In other words, they might become "vegan-ish" rather than full-fledged vegans.

So, what's the verdict? Are these extreme vegan protesters on the right track? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we'd love to hear YOUR thoughts on the matter. Let us know in the comments below!
